This hardly ever happens, so I need to point out that Abby Jordan and Becky App give a pretty on-the-nose valuation on their company. They came in offering 33% of their company for $250,000 and it turns out they are on track to make $750,000 this year. So for once the Sharks don't have to ridicule them for their valuation.
They also make a great pitch as to why their profit on $750,000 is only going to be $60,000: they've spent a lot building the strongest possible foundation (machinery, testing, shipping issues), so they are on the tipping point of making mucho bucks.
Not one of the Sharks denies that this is the best ice cream they've ever had, or that this is actually a great idea. However, the only offer they can get is from Uncle Kevin, who only offers to put up half the capital they had asked for. Since none of the other Sharks are willing to go in with him, Abby and Becky leave the Tank without a deal.
At the very least, I think they got some clarity on where they are, where they need to go, and how to get there. For example, it turns out that the brick-and-mortar store they run is actually sucking profits away from their online business - that's one big change they could make right there.
