What a way to kick off an amazing episode!
I love it when the Sharks are genuinely surprised and delighted by something they didn't see coming. When Pat revealed his jar of crickets (which are used to make the flour in his energy bar) I loved seeing the ususally stoic Sharks turn into giggling school children.
Pat's idea seems like it will take a long time to become a million-dollar business - given that Americans are EXTREMELY squeamish about eating insects. However, Mark uncovers the fact that Pat has been approached by other cricket-entrepreneurs who want to buy his FDA approved cricket-flour. He convinces Pat that moving in that direction is the best way forward for his brand: Chapul should be the supplier of the cricket-flour.
